Marketing & Content Manager

American Capital Group is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Content Manager to lead our digital presence and content strategy.

Job Description

American Capital Group is seeking a creative and strategic Marketing & Content Manager to lead our digital presence and content strategy from our Manhattan office in the Financial District. This is a fully in-person role, and candidates must be based in the New York metro area and available to work on-site five days a week.

You’ll generate and launch SEO‑loaded content across our web properties and socials at scale, while enacting multichannel sequences (Email, SMS, Ai Calls, LinkedIn, etc) to create a relentless lead‑gen machine that turns curious leads into loyal clients. We’re a high‑velocity financial firm backing small businesses nationwide—if you write clean, learn fast, and love watching content turn into conversions, you’ll thrive here.

Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Build multi‑channel sequences (email / SMS / VM drops / DMs) for lead‑gen & client retention.
  • Serve as the in-house CRM expert, building campaigns and tracking performance
  • Monitor inbound replies and ride herd on the sales pipeline so nothing ages in the queue.
  • Collaborate with the sales team on lead handoff strategy and timing
  • Produce and present clear, actionable monthly marketing reports.
  • Stay current with AI tools to enhance content creation and workflow
  • Enrich lead data using research tools and databases to build comprehensive prospect profiles

Content, Social & SEO:

  • Develop, manage and post on a social media calendar across all platforms
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging social content (static, video, and written)
  • Generate and publish blog content aligned with SEO and brand strategy
  • Manage updates to our website (Webflow experience preferred)
  • Work closely with design tools (Canva, Adobe, Figma) to develop branded assets

Swiss Army Knife for Bremus Team:*

  • Work closely with Bremus Team to keep organized
  • Collaborative and communicative, able to work across departments
  • Capture new playbooks in Notion & record Looms. Contribute to knowledge base of tactics.
  • Keep lead/account lists clean, enriched and segmented; spot‑fix deliverability issues before they hurt.
  • Assist dev team in finding bugs, trouble shooting automations, improving in-house tools

(*The Bremus Team is a department within American Capital Group responsible for most technical components such as websites, tools, the CRM, automated outreach, etc. If the sales team is the Army, The Bremus Team is the DOD. We enable the sales team to engage with leads and close deals.)

Qualifications

Skillset & Tools:

  • Creative and strategic, with a strong focus on turning ideas into action
  • Strong writing and content development skills
  • Proficient in Notion for managing projects and team communication
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tactics to improve search visibility (bonus if familiar with tools like Ahrefs).
  • Experienced in CRM systems (Salesforce familiarity a plus; must be able to learn and master our in-house CRM)
  • Comfortable with Webflow or other website CMS platforms
  • Strong campaign development skills across email, SMS, and LinkedIn
  • Data-driven and capable of delivering performance insights with clarity
  • Skilled in designing ad copy, social content, and basic video design using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or Figma.

You’ll thrive if you…

  • Write fast, tight, mistake‑free copy—and enjoy it.
  • Learn new SaaS dashboards in an afternoon; New tools & APIs don’t scare you.
  • Juggle tasks without dropping details; your to‑do list fears you.
  • Have an eye for layout & hierarchy (basic HTML/CSS & JSON helps).
  • Can swap hats between creative, analyst and firefighter without crying.
  • Don’t clutch pearls over “marketing ethics”––we play in the gray. (Data scraping, enrichment, OSINT, cold SMS/Email outreach, IP based ad targeting)
